# 1.1.0 audiobook speed eligibility > Version: 1.1.0. Release requirements. [Verification status](/Riff/1-1-0/status). ## Current occurrence owns audio eligibility An effective Book current occurrence uses the active profile's persisted audiobook speed, `PlaybackParameters(speed, 1.0f)` and silence skipping, regardless of MAIN's Music/Books browsing mode. An effective Music occurrence or no current occurrence uses speed/pitch 1.0 and disables silence skipping. Mixed queues resolve this per occurrence. The local playback Ban slot contains the existing speed action whenever the current occurrence is effective Book. The command handler applies the same eligibility and selected-storage checks. Changing MAIN's browsing mode must preserve the speed, control, queue and position. Bookmark eligibility retains its separate Book Title-context rule. Profile and classification changes still refresh effective membership and the active profile's preference. Source-profile provenance continues to own history and bookmarks. All remaining [baseline speed rules](/Riff/LATEST/player-audiobook-speed), including fixed tenths, stepping/reset, shared geometry, persistence and supported-host boundaries, remain inherited. This owner replaces only the browsing-mode gate for audio parameters and local speed actions.
